Release Information (continued)

  1. The environmental medium or media into which the substance was released or discharged.
  2. Potential health effects associated with the release or discharge of the substance.
  3. Precautions taken, including evacuation, remediation, or other proposed response actions (OEPA, 2009).
  4. Any additional information that facility managers can provide ICs, including but not limited to, whether the substances:
    • are stored at ambient temperature and pressure and if not the specific conditions
    • are solid, liquid or gas at ambient temperature
    • specific gravity
    • vapor density
    • possible reactions between chemicals if multiple chemicals are involved
    • any other information that may be helpful in controlling the release
