Cuyahoga County Emergency Communication System (CECOMS)
CECOMS is a central coordination point for emergency communications and is staffed 24 hours per day. They can provide notification to emergency response agencies and municipalities throughout the county via radio communications.
At the municipal level, a local jurisdiction's dispatch center will communicate large-scale emergency information to local responders. During an emergency, the Incident Commander can contact CECOMS and request activation of the EAS.
