CCOEM and OEMC

County Emergency Resource System: The CCOEM maintains a database of resources such as supplies and equipment for use during an emergency in the county.

Any IC can request resources from CCOEM by calling CECOMS and making a request (this is usually only done when a jurisdiction has exhausted their respective resources).

Emergency Mutual Aid Compact (EMAC): EMAC is a congressionally ratified agreement that provides form and structure to interstate mutual aid. Through EMAC, a disaster-affected State can request assistance from other member States quickly and efficiently, resolving two key issues up front: liability and reimbursement (CCEOP definitions). EMAC requests can be made through CECOMS and coordinated by CCOEM.
