EHS managers are required to make all notifications described by law. They must:
- Notify the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District if applicable. They may be
reached by calling 216-641-6000 (216-641-3200 off hours) so that remedial action
can be taken.” - Notify the Ohio EPA, State Emergency Response Commission at 1-800-282-9378.
- If release is a CERCLA substance, notify the National Response Center at 1-800-
424-8802.
These notifications should be made in the order given and within 30 minutes of discovering the release if possible.
