CSU Video Testamonial for Center for eLearning's Website
This is a commercial I produced, from video shot by CSU's videographer, for the Center for e-Learning's website. I was directed by our first director to edit for the message "I thought elearning would be bad, but it was great. The myths aren't true." I edited several hours of video within Adobe Premiere Pro, including chroma-keying each individual from a blue screen and onto a custom background graphic that I created in Photoshop. I rendered the final version with Adobe Media encoder to produce a native Flash video file in .flv format. I brought the .flv into a Flash movie with the Flash Video Playback component. The final Flash movie (.swf and accompanying files) were placed on a Flash Streaming Media server. I wrote the "eLearning is engagedlearning @ CSU" and "Hear what CSU students have to say about eLearning." I made a suggestion to embed the movie at the top of the main page for prospective students. The movie would replace an old slider made of stock photo people holding relics of traditional learning, such as chalk and stacks of paperback books. It is much more inherently interesting, more personal and custom. It took more investment to produce.
