This project involved recording and presenting laboratories online for a mostly online Anatomy & Physiology class. These are progressively downloaded video (not streaming). My role included writing a grant for the equipment to do the lighting and videotaping, ordering the equipment, setup of the video camera and lighting, wrting a storyboard, recording narration, preparation and demonstration of the experiments within the first two laboratories (digestive and urinary), editing of video, design of a Flash interface, encoding of Flash video, creation of animated illustrations, and final output on the course management system. Analysis/need: the course needed to be put online to accommodate a necessary leave. Dr. Davies came in periodically to meet with students. She reported that there were no differences in distribution of grades that quarter.
