Animated Illustration of the Mammalian Heart Beating

illustration of the sinoatrial node being activated in the right atrium

This is a narrated animation of the functioning of the mammalian heart for potential use in a biology class. I wrote the script, drew all parts of the heart in Flash and animated the parts with shape tweens primarily. I recorded the sound of my own heart using a stethescope and tubing connected to an external computer microphone to get the heart beat sound at the end. My husband narrated it.
