Animation of a 3D Canine Skeleton Attached to Motion Capture Data of a Greyhound

3D skeleton bound to optical motion capture data of greyhound trotting

I modeled the dog skeleton in Maya and bound it to a kinematic skeleton that was constrained to motion capture data of a greyhound trotting. I used Flash to produce the movie file showing the skeleton in slow motion, trot cycle. If you click on the image on the right, you can see the animated skeleton. I also have a color coded model of the dog bound to the motion capture animation data, exported from Maya as a VRML movie at http://heathercaprette.com/950_Wi_04/11GeomPtsDefined_2.wrl. Please download and install Cortona 3-D Viewer before clicking on the link to the animated .wrl file. The WRL VRML file can only be viewed with Internet Explorer 11 with Cortona 3-D Viewer installed.
